New Freeview Channel "Dave"

New channel "Dave" has replaced UKTV Brightideas (which was pants) on freeview number 12, its all repeats and nothing too exciting.

whats the deal with this dave is it going to get cut off on suday night, or is it uktv history during the day then dave at night
well im sitting watching buzzcocks the now so im not arguing
but i will be if it grts taken away

It Seems Like If It Has The Word Freeview Then Give Us Any Old Rubbish And The Pesants Will Be Happy.

Should We Not Be Demanding More Quality Tv From Freeview?????
We Pay A Licence Fee,which Is Expensive And By 2012 We All Have To Be Digital.

At the end of the day that license fee isnt enough to let BBC be competitive in competition with SKY, and Virgin so cant afford the descent shows, so instead try to make their own prob is good writers also cost lots lol. As for ITV and Channel 4 they have no such excuse and yet air complete shite, Friends ffs nothing but Friends, Fraiser, Will and Grace, Simpsons, we dont need to see em 500 times... As for rest of FV well it's shite really isnt it....

its not a new channel, its the old UKTV Gold2 with a new name, i'd rather have that than bright ideas

You need a TV Licence to use any television receiving equipment such as a TV set, set-top boxes, video or DVD recorders, computers or mobile phones to watch or record TV programmes as they are being shown on TV.

If you use a set-top box with a hi-fi system or another device that can only be used to produce sounds and can't display TV programmes, and you don't install or use any other TV receiving equipment, you don't need a TV Licence.
